Because you’re reading this caption, you get mor Because you’re reading this caption, you get more details on my new project with
@toughtopicsmom, Kimberly King.🙂

Kimberly and I are currently recording a multi-module course on Sibling Safety!!!❤️🔥❤️

This course, aimed at parents—and really, anyone who cares about kids—will cover a number of subjects like:

- Sibling abuse: emotional, physical, and sexual
-What are the risk factors of sibling sexual trauma and abuse?
-What are the signs that SST/A is happening?
-How can you prevent sibling abuse?
-And more👶👧🧒👦

We are so excited about this project!
As a survivor of sibling sexual trauma and abuse, I know how important it is for parents to have this information.
I guarantee you, this will be an incredible resource for parents, grandparents, educators, and more.
Stay tuned for additional information!

I don't know about you, But once in a while I snap I don't know about you,
But once in a while I snap a selfie I really like.
And it doesn't take 40 tries to make it happen.😆

I took this picture late one night right before I got on Zoom
To record with a podcast host in New Zealand.

It was a really special conversation.
One of those where I connected deeply with another person
On the topic of child safety.
And what the work looks like here in the States
Versus in New Zealand.

I look forward to the episode airing.
But for now, all I can say is:
Stay tuned.

Are you a survivor of child sexual abuse? Also kn Are you a survivor of child sexual abuse?
Also known as CSA.

So many CSA incidents involve family members.
Which can make things at home
Or at family gatherings
Really complicated.

According to Psychology Today,
One in four people are estranged
From at least one family member.

Among my survivor friends
The number seems more like half.

If you're thinking about going NO-CONTACT
With a family member,
Or maybe even your entire family,
Here are some things to consider.

And remember,
Family estrangement doesn't have to be forever.
Unless it needs to be forever.

Does your child know who to turn to if you’re no Does your child know who to turn to if you’re not available?
Or if they don’t feel comfortable talking about a particular issue with you?
Why might they hesitate?
Sometimes kids worry they’ll get in trouble if they disclose sexual harm.

To give kids another option, one of the “pro-tips” I suggest to kids at body safety assemblies is to make a list of safe adults.
Some should be family members.
Some should not be family members.
I say this because in many instances of child sexual abuse (CSA), the abuser is a family member.
When this is the case, a child can be reluctant to “tattle” on a family member to a parent.

My child safety expert friend Kimberly King, @toughtopicsmom, also recommends making a list of safe adults.
Kimberly goes over this idea in her bestselling child safety book, “I Said No.”
A new version of this classic CSA prevention book is due out this fall.

I also included the “Safe Adult” concept in the resources at the back of my child safety book, “The Brave Knight.”
To buy a copy of “The Brave Knight,” or a book bundle with “The Brave Knight” and “I Said No,” check out the SHOP on my website: dianetarantini.com.

To the people who sexually harm children... Your To the people who sexually harm children...

Your victims won't always be smaller than you.
Or weaker than you.
You won't always have more influence than them.

When they grow up, some will press charges against you.
Tell the media stories of what you did.
Or your family.
They may write a book about you.
That could get optioned for a movie.

Why don't you stop now?
Refuse to harm another child.
Maybe even get help.
You could try helpwantedprevention.org.
Or in the UK, there's stopso.org.uk.

Dear friends: I love collaboration. Almost as muc Dear friends:

I love collaboration.
Almost as much was I love my forever honey, Tony Bear.

That's why I am partnering with the @moncocac_ --Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center--to host "The Newlywed Game" on August 15, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30 pm.

Having worked on projects with the MCCAC multiple times, I can promise you the evening will be both beautiful and fun!

Not only that, it will help raise money for this tremendous organization that provides a variety of services to children and families experiencing hard things right here in Mon County.

I hope you'll dress up, glow up, and show up,
Because that is exactly what I plan to do.
I can't wait!!
All I have to do is find the perfect pair of shoes!
